Day 01: Kathmandu

After landing in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a representative of Yak Treks who will transport you to your hotel. You will then check-in to the hotel, freshen up and relax. We will reconvene in the evening to introduce you to your fellow trekkers and brief you about the trek.

Day 02: Kathmandu – Lukla (2827m.) trek to- Phakding (2652m.)

This is the day your adventure officially begins! We will take an early morning flight to Lukla. From Lukla, we will begin our trek with a short 3 hour trek to Phakding.

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazar (3440m.) 5-6 Hours

We will start our trek for the day after breakfast. The trek to Namche is not easy but very scenic. We will cross the Dudh Koshi river(at least 5 times!), enter the Sagarmatha National park, walk across the Edmund Hillary bridge and make our way up to Namche. Weather permitting, we will be able to catch a glimpse of Everest on our trek up.

Day 04: Rest day in Namche for  acclimatization

This is the day to rest and acclimatize. You will get a chance to check out the Sagarmatha National Park museum, have plenty of time to take in the gorgeous landscape and take pictures with Mt Everest as your backdrop. We will also do a small hike up to Everest view hotel to help with acclimatization.

Day 05. Namche  trek to  Tengboche (3860m.)  5-6  hours.

We will start after breakfast and make our way down to Dudh Koshi, grab lunch and make our way up to Tengboche. We will stop at the monastery at Tengboche before making our way to our tea house to rest for the night.

Day 06. Tengboche trek to Dingboche  (4410m.) 5 hour

Our trek will start post a hearty breakfast. The trail will start through a pine forest up to Pangboche from where the forests give way to the barren but beautiful Himalayan landscape surrounded by mountains. We will now be officially at 14000 feet above sea level! 

Day 07. Rest day in Dingboche

This is the last rest day before we make our way over to EBC. We will do a short hike to acclimatize to the altitude.

Day 08. Dingboche trek to Lobuche  (4910m.) 4-5 hours.

Its the penultimate day of the hike up to EBC! Our trek will take us through the scenic valleys, the Lobuche memorials all the way to the quiet village of Lobuche. Here is where you will catch your first glimpse of the Khumbu glacier.

Day 09. Lobuche trek to Gorakshep (5180m.) continue  Everest Base camp (5400m.)  back to  Gorkshep 7 hours.

Finally, the most exciting day of your trek is here! We will start our trek up to Gorakshep where we will stop for a nice hot lunch before continuing up to the base camp. We will have the chance to take plenty of pictures at the base camp before we head back to Gorakshep to retire for the night.

Day 10.  Gorkshep  trek to Pangboche

Our trek will start early in the morning. Weather permitting, we will make our way up to Kala Patthar for a panoramic view of Nuptse and Mt Everest in all its glory. After Kala Pathhar we will make our way down to Pangboche.

Day 11. Pangboche trek to  Namche.

We will make our way down from Pangboche to Namche. We will get to Namche around 4pm leaving us enough time to explore the town some more, grab a cold beer and relax.

Day 12. Namche trek  to Lukla.

Last day of the hike! You have made it! We will make our way back from Namche to Lukla. Once we get to Lukla, we will have plenty time to freshen up, relax and convene in the evening for a small dinner party. 

Day13.  Lukla  to  Kathmandu by flight transport to hotel

With all amazing memories of the adventure and the 1000s of pictures you have taken we make our way back to Kathmandu. You will be transported to the hotel and we will gather at night for a proper celebration.
